Shipped in the last two weeks, and what landed in the Media Library.
Anyone opening the hub for the first time on the Team or Leadership view is now walked through it rather than left to find their own way around. The guided tour opens by itself, on whichever page they arrived at, and walks only the tabs that view actually has — so nobody is shown a door their own menu does not have. Nothing is moved and nothing is hidden while it runs: it is your own hub with your own work in it, and a small panel in the corner says what each page is for. Press Escape, or End tour, and it stops for good. At the end it hands over — Leadership to How this works, a team member to Getting started. It happens once per person rather than once per browser, so nobody is walked through it a second time on their phone. The Marketing view is unchanged: it still opens on the box for making something.
See itThere is a game of Connect Four in the Break Room now, for the two minutes between things rather than the twenty backgammon asks for. Play the computer, or hand the phone or laptop to whoever is sitting next to you — in pass-and-play it says whose go it is and asks you to pass it over. Tap the top of a column to drop your disc; the four that win light up when someone gets them. Take back a disc you didn't mean, including the one that won, and start again whenever you like. The running score sits above the board, and a game you walk away from is kept on your own device so you can pick it up where you left it.
See itThe Needs you list has come off Home. It had grown into four jobs under one heading — pieces to approve, pieces already waiting on someone else, past-due posts to tidy up and the odd note — and on a phone that ran to several screens before you reached anything you could act on. Nothing has been lost, it is simply where you would look for it: what needs approving is on Approvals and is gone through together in the weekly meeting, what is due or past due is on the calendar, and a Monthly Yield section nobody has filled in now shows at the top of the Monthly Yield page. Home opens on where the week stands, the box for starting something, and Made for you underneath.
See itApproving something by mistake used to be final — the row simply moved on and there was no way back. Now anyone who has signed a piece off sees Take it back beside their name, and pressing it undoes only their own approval; everyone else's stays where it is. Adding a picture to a post has a second source too: as well as your media library, the picker now offers On your posts — every graphic we have already made for you, newest first, so the meet-the-team piece from a fortnight ago is two taps away instead of a hunt. And when a post is reacting to something in the news, the story it is about now sits beside the comments as a link, so you can read the original before you approve the take on it.
